荣誉项目

The 荣誉项目 is an individualized course of study that allows students to explore a topic of interest and to demonstrate their 理解 through an authentic capstone project. 而不是选择荣誉课程或普通课程, 所有学生都安排他们需要或想要的课程, 每门课的所有学生都得到相同的学分. 为了获得荣誉的区分和加权G.P.A. 年底的信贷, a student must pass a cross-curricular evaluation of their Honors project and their overall academic performance on the following standards:

学生必须保持3分.5 .累积平均绩点(G.P.A.)继续参加荣誉课程. Only students who successfully complete the year-long individualized curriculum according to criteria developed by the Upper School faculty will receive Honors distinction.

宗教

英语

高中英语课程培养学生的口头表达能力:说、读、写. 每年的课程包括文学、词汇和写作. Grammar is explicitly taught in the grade 8 curriculum; in grades 9-12, 语法迷你课程被纳入需要解决学生写作中注意到的错误.  All courses require students to engage in independent reading so that students develop a habit of reading and increase their reading stamina for reading lengthy texts.
